Bereavement Doula Services
If you are currently experiencing a pregnancy or infant loss, please reach out. You do not have to navigate this alone. I encourage you to call, text, or email me directly, and I have also included additional bereavement resources and support organizations via the 'Learn More' link at the top of this page should you need immediate assistance.
The loss of a pregnancy or baby is one of the most profound experiences a family can endure. It is a grief that often feels invisible to the outside world, yet touches every part of a parent's life. There are no perfect words, no timelines, and no right or wrong way to navigate such a loss. Every family's experience is unique, and every baby's story matters.
As a Certified Stillbirthday Bereavement Doula, I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss. I previously served as a State Representative for the Stillbirthday organization in Texas and Colorado, helping connect families with resources, education, and compassionate support during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through this work, I have supported families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, fatal diagnosis, neonatal loss, infertility, and subsequent pregnancies after loss.
My commitment to bereavement support is rooted in both professional and personal experience. I have experienced chemical pregnancies and miscarriage myself, have carried as a surrogate for a woman struggling with infertility, and am also a widow. While every loss is different and no two grief journeys are ever the same, these experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the ways loss can shape our lives, our relationships, and our understanding of the world around us. I know that grief is not something to be fixed or rushed. It is something to be carried, honored, and navigated with compassion and support.
My role is not to take away your grief or tell you how you should feel. My role is to provide support, information, and a steady presence as you navigate decisions, process emotions, and honor the life of your baby in whatever way feels meaningful to your family.
Depending on your circumstances, support may include assistance navigating medical appointments, support during labor and delivery following a loss, guidance regarding memory-making opportunities, photography and keepsake options, sibling support, postpartum support, referrals to trusted local and national resources, and ongoing support throughout the grieving process. Every family's needs are different, and care is always tailored to your unique situation.
One of the most difficult realities of pregnancy and infant loss is that parents are often expected to return to everyday life while carrying a grief that remains deeply present. I believe every baby deserves to be acknowledged. I believe every family's story deserves to be honored. And I believe no parent should have to navigate loss feeling unseen or unsupported.
My background combined with more than fifteen years of experience supporting families through birth, postpartum, and bereavement, allows me to approach this work with compassion, sensitivity, and respect for the individuality of each family's journey. Some parents want information. Some want to talk. Some simply need someone willing to sit beside them in the uncertainty. There is no agenda, no expectation, and no timeline. Only support.
My Philosophy
I believe every baby matters.
I believe every family's story matters.
I believe grief is a reflection of love, and that love does not end when a life is brief.
Most of all, I believe no parent should have to walk through pregnancy or infant loss alone.
Whether your baby was lost early in pregnancy, later in pregnancy, during birth, or after birth, your experience deserves to be acknowledged, your baby deserves to be remembered, and your family deserves compassionate support.
It is a profound privilege to walk alongside families during these sacred and heartbreaking moments, helping them honor their baby, preserve their memories, and carry their love forward in whatever way feels right for them.
